In the first round of a boxing battle, Ryan Taylor, the fiancé of Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known by her stage as DJ Cuppy, pulled out after receiving a punch to the eyes from opponent Swarmz.
Ryan had competed against Brandon Scott alias Swarmz in the OVO Arena Wembley.
At the Misfits Boxing 4 event in London, Swarmz knocked out Ryan Taylor with the opening blow of the match, leaving Dj Cuppy’s fiancé blind.
This is the second time in less than a year that his fight has ended unexpectedly.
The Amateur Boxer took to his Instagram story to express how the punch met his face, Ryan stated that he immediately lost sight; hence the reason for quitting.
“The glove caught my fucking eye ball. I can’t see shit. Mad …,” he wrote while adding a laughing emoji.

The fight, however, stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians who had a thing or two to say about the match.
“Wey he reason how many billions Otedola worth my guy no wan die ooo wey him in law get money 😀😀😀,” a social media user wrote in reactions.
Another user added, “Is the hot punch for me😂😂😂😂some of our nigeria guys who had a crush on cuppy will be glad to see this video 😂😂😂😂😂😂”
