Grilled Beef with Roasted Rice and Sour-Sweet Sauce Lab is a delicious dish. You can choose meat to make it, like beef, chicken and fish.
Ingredients:
300g beef 1 tbsp rice, roasted and ground 4-5 shallots, sliced thinly 1-2 bird chillies Chi: mint and saw mint Sauce: 2 tbsp fish sauce 2 tsp vinegar 2 tsp white sugar 1/2 tsp salt 5-6 garlic cloves, burned and pounded 2-3 slices of galangal, burned and pounded
Method:
Grill beef in being undone or 70%-80% cooked, and then slice and chop, set aside. Burn galangal, garlic and chilli then pound together into fine and then place in a small bowl, next add fish sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt, stir well. Pace chopped beef in a large bowl then sprinkle roasted rice, sliced shallot and drizzle the sauce over and blend until well mixed. And then remove on étice plate and garnish with Chi and chillies. Lab is served with crunchy vegetable like, cucumber, long bean, cabbage.
